In most Pacific Island cultures, ripe Noni fruits are hand harvested, washed, and carefully aged for a full two months, following the traditional method. This allows the ripe fruit to become fully soft. At this point, the juice seeps out of the fruit. Typically, Pacific Islanders make their own Noni juice by taking the ripe, clean fruit and placing it in a one-gallon jar. The ripened fruit becomes soft and mushy and is allowed to age for several weeks as the juice slowly seeps out of the fruit. When aging is complete, the fruits are pressed, producing the finest Noni juice available - high in active compounds and high in dissolved solids. As is typically found with medicinal plants, the ancient wisdom of indigenous peoples has been confirmed by modern scientific methods. As is generally true, valid reasoning stands behind traditional methods, and in this case, the aging process allows the active polysaccharide compounds in the Noni fruit to be further synthesized and released into solution. In addition, a long aging process allows the transformation of sugars into organic acids, producing a stable, low ph product which does not undergo fermentation or spoilage when stored under suitable conditions. The highest quality juice is prepared in this manner. Noni Juice in Scientific Studies: In the most recent Noni fruit study, both pure juice and a concentrated polysaccharide preparation derived from the juice were tested for immune system and anti-cancer activity. It was found that the pure, aged juice had the same, or slightly more effectiveness, than the concentrate. The dosage of juice translates into 20-25 ml per day for an average human weight of 70kg. Most of the other manufacturers use non-aged juice or reconstituted juice, plus they add other ingredients that dilute the potency. 1. Non-aged Juice In this process, green (hard) noni fruit is pressed and the resulting juice becomes the finished product. Soft, ripe fruit are not used, as they are too difficult to handle for most processors. We know of some processors who even sell the remaining 'green' pulp to be freeze-dried and sold as Noni powder. These manufacturers do not age the fruit for the required length of time due to the costs and time period involved. 2. Reconstituted Juice This is essentially a water extract of the dried fruit powder. If a quality dried fruit powder is used in the correct proportion of water or other fruit juices, a product similar to non-aged juice may be formed. Most manufacturers, however, are producing a very dilute solution in order to save costs and gain profits. Suggested Use for NoniPure: Take one ounce or more each day, preferable before meals. NoniPure may be mixed with your favorite juice if you desire. Mix four parts other juice with one part NoniPure. The result is a blend that is still more potent with noni juice than that of our competitor's "juice blended" noni. Prove this for yourself! Enjoy the finest noni juice product in the world, NoniPure. Quality Assurance: All of Nature's Rx formulations are prepared under the strictest QC controls and procedures to guarantee you the finest dietary supplements available in the market today. Noni Juice Background Noni is the common Hawaiian name for morinda citrafolia also known as Indian Mulberry. The plant indigenous to India, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia, is a type of evergreen ranging in size from a small bush to a tree 20 or 30 feet high. Approximately the size of a potato, the noni fruit has a lumpy appearance and a waxy, semi-translucent skin that ranges in color as it ripens from green to yellow to almost white. Native Hawaiians recognize it, sight unseen, because of the fruit's rancid smell when fully ripe. This smell decreases as the fruit is fermented and the juice is prepared. The taste is also improved during this processing. Noni is receiving more and more attention from modern herbalists, medical physicians, and high-tech biochemists. Scientific studies within the last few decades lend support to the Hawaiian and Polynesians' claims of its unusual healing power. Some of the health-related ingredients of Noni fruit that have been isolated are Morindone, Morindine, Acubin, Terpene compounds, L. Asperuloside, various Anthraquinones, Alazarin, Caproic Acid, Caprylic Acid, Scopoletin, Damnacanthal, and Alkaloids. Alkaloids are colorless, complex, bitter organic bases, and they are essential to maintaining healthy stasis in the body. Dr. Ralph Heinicke, a respected biochemist formerly at the University of Hawaii, has dedicated himself to the study of one alkaloid in particular found in Noni called xeronine. The body produces xeronine in order to activate enzymes and to regulate and give structure to proteins. According to Dr. Heinicke, without xeronine, life would not exist. However extracting xeronine from the human body has been impossible to date. The body's protein molecules consume the alkaloid immediately after it is created; and therefore, there is never an appreciable, insoluble amount in the body. Even though the noni fruit has only negligible amounts of xeronine, the juice does contain very large amounts of a precursor to the essential alkaloid called proxeronine. Proxeronine is a colloid that, unlike most colloids, contains neither sugars, amino acids, nor nucleic acids and thereby has been overlooked by most biochemists. This compound initiates the release of xeronine in the intestinal tract after it comes in contact with a specific enzyme which is also contained in the noni juice. This particular chemical combination is believed to significantly affect cellular function, which can determine a whole host of physiological reactions. The enzymatic reactions that occur with taking noni juice on an empty stomach are what Dr. Heinicke believes set cellular repair into motion. Purchase the best Noni Juce in the world.
