WaveRider(TM) Turns Brainwaves into Music Set up the feel of the music by selecting the instruments, scales and effects that you want your body and mind to 'play'. Connect the WaveRider(TM) control box (and the optically isolated brainwave sensors) through your serial port, then use the Windows application to translate the data so it controls a sound card or synthesizer.
You get 2 to 4 channels (depending on the version you choose - see below) that read heart, brain, muscle and skin resistance. WaveWare(TM) (the Windows software that comes with the WaveRider) offers real-time FFT with variable windowing and time averaging, a spectrogram and heart rate. You can configure and store complex displays and audio output settings, as well as data files of any length.
Newly added capacities: Graphing of all values that previously could only be converted into music; spooling of all graphs to an ascii file that can be analyzed; PLUS a new synchrony mode that compares the phase relationship of the 2 channels - allowing alpha, theta or beta synchrony training like Les Fehmi's Brainwave Biofeedback Synchronizer.
